An email marketing app sends the welcome, abandoned cart and post-purchase emails that bring in repeat revenue, plus the campaigns in between. Most Shopify stores then add a review app, a popup app and a chat app next to it, each with its own bill and its own copy of the customer. Emailwish charges by emails sent rather than by contacts, sets up about 10 flows from your store’s brand at install, and includes popups, reviews and live chat in every plan. It doesn’t send SMS; Klaviyo and Omnisend do.
How we compare
We compare every app on the same criteria, using each vendor’s public pricing page, documentation and Shopify App Store or WordPress.org listing, and we record every price and feature with its source and the date we checked it. Each comparison prices both apps at 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 contacts, with the sending volume we assumed stated under the table, lines up the main features in an at-a-glance table, quotes ratings with their review counts and has a section on where the other app is stronger. Emailwish is our product, and we earn no affiliate commissions. Read our editorial policy for the full method.

Frequently asked questions
Is Emailwish cheaper than Klaviyo?
At 1,000 contacts Klaviyo’s email plan is $5 a month cheaper. From around 5,000 contacts Emailwish costs less: $55 against $100 a month at 5,000 contacts and $100 against $150 at 10,000, assuming about 4 emails per contact a month. Emailwish’s price also includes popups, reviews and live chat.
Does Emailwish send SMS?
No. Emailwish sends email only. If SMS or WhatsApp messages are part of your plan, an SMS-capable app such as Klaviyo is the better fit.
Which flows does Emailwish set up for me?
About 10 flows go live at the end of setup, including the welcome series, abandoned cart, review request, after-review, form signup and chat follow-up flows. Emailwish writes the copy in your brand’s voice, and you can edit any flow.
How do I switch from another email app?
Export your contacts with their consent status, import them into Emailwish and check the flows it set up at install, then turn off the old flows so nobody gets two emails. Each comparison has a step-by-step section on switching.
